SSRA Party 2024
The Seattle Squash League and SSRA 40th Anniversary party has been moved to Saturday, May 11, from 6 to 9 p.m., at The Old Log Cabin in the Seattle Interbay area north of the space needle along Elliott Ave. N.
In addition to prizes, free swag, pizza, salad, and beverages, we will be raffling off some great prizes, including one or more Tecnifibre racquets and tickets to the upcoming PSA World Tour Finals in Bellevue in June and the YSK pro exhibition in August. As a league player, you will have your choice of pizza, salad, and drink along with one free raffle ticket (and the opportunity to purchase more raffle tickets and beverages).
*Guests can attend for an additional $20 (please RSVP below).
*League T-shirts will be available for pickup by your team captain or representative.
We will also award the League 2023-2024 team trophies and prizes for the first and second-place teams. Individual awards will be handed out at approximately 7 p.m. As part of our Seattle Squash Racquets Association 40th Anniversary celebration, there will also be special appearances and recognition of some past Seattle Squash leaders who formed the SSRA, and league play in 1984.
And for those who have had enough Squash, there will be another opportunity to win a Tecnifibre racquet in a progressive NCAA-bracket-style Cornhole tournament!
Join the celebration with your teammates, friends, and competitors. Even if you don't win the raffle, you'll still have the chance to walk away with some free goodies from a couple of our sponsors, Tecnifibre and Squash Galaxy!

SSRA Annual General Meeting (Nov 15)
The Seattle Squash Racquets Association will be electing new board members and officers at the Nov. 15 Annual General Meeting, at 7:30 pm at the SACDT.
Seattle Squash is a volunteer led non-profit corporation that promotes all squash related activities in the Puget Sound area – more than just league!
As members of the SSRA and US Squash, you are invited to attend, and we welcome your participation and support. If you would like to be considered for election to the SSRA Board of Trustees, please submit a statement of interest to president@seattlesquash.com by November 8.

Sign up your team for squash league 2023 - 2024
(1) Register your team by sending an email to league@seattlesquash.com and include who the captain will be. Our Admin will create the team in ClubLocker.
(2) Pay League Fee below. $100 off until October 25 (YES! extended!).
Box League at SAC
What is Box League exactly?
The Box League is an internal (SAC only) competition in brackets of 5 players.
Box/bracket #1 has the top five players and the last bracket has the bottom five.
After every monthly play period the players will move up or down, depending on their results. This will guarantee new opponents every month.
Players have all the freedom to play on any day/time during the period and will make the appointment with each other. After each match, the winner goes online and puts the result on ClubLocker. This will automatically be calculated towards the players ratings.
US Squash membership / US Squash Rating
In order to use these match results for one's rating, both players are required to be US Squash members. The majority of you already are members but if you are not a member, here is the link to US Squash site:

This membership costs $149 per year and includes the ClubLocker membership as well.
Start day & fee
The SAC Box League is aimed to start October 1st.
The Monthly Box League fee is $25 and can be used as a credit towards private lessons with the Head Coach Tatu Murronmaa.
Players can join/stop playing Box League every month.

Move Washington State Open to first weekend in November (from Tatu).
Make a decision that SSRA will supply balls, or not, to league this year ???
Bring up the idea that we can be part of two teams in different divisions, e.g. a player can play top spots in a Div B team while playing a lower spot in a Div A team. This is done all the time in Tennis leagues.
